Thought I would use this page to give a bit of history of the family and the area. It is so very interesting and goes back to the time of the Chinook Indians, Grays exploration of the Columbia River, Lewis & Clark and right up to the settlement of the Elliott family in the 1850's and of course beyond to the history we are creating today.
