We are closed!
We really enjoyed hosting our guests for the last 10 years, but it's time to retire and work on that bucket list.
We will continue doing our
St. Patrick's Day Tea and maybe a few others. Will be updating the website to reflect what will
be available.
If you looked up "Bed and Breakfast" in the Dictionary there should be a picture of Dahlia House.....Chris S.
Exciting News!

Best NW Escapes 2022.
Linda and Brian go the extra mile to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We decided to purchase dinner meals (extra) and it was a gourmet experience. We brought our own wine to compliment dinner. The breakfasts were also special, with the added touch of having your own pot of coffee waiting for you outside your bedroom door. Linda and Brian did everything they could to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, and for us they succeeded! Well done.
A bit off the beaten path, and well worth it! View of the Columbia you won't often see - sipping coffee at breakfast and a tug boat pushing a huge barge drifts silently by, soaring birds, clouds on the horizon, peaceful lapping of the water on the shore. We loved the fresh and hearty breakfast, the comfy bed, and the AMAZING soaking tub. All the right touches for feeling pampered and completely welcome. Bring a book and stay a couple of nights - Linda and Brian will make you feel at home, and you're going to want time to relax a while!
Bring a book, a notepad, heck, even a laptop, if you must. But do bring some sort of a writing instrument to immortalize a memory that Linda and Brian will make sure it becomes exactly that. A beautiful memory! The drive to the house is best done during day light. Take the advice to heart. It'll save you a bit of a headache. Linda will tell you the same. Plus, you cannot beat the views during sunlight hours. Ask for the Pillar Rock Room, if available. Savor the freedom from the computer screen, dump the cell phone (in your duffle bag), inhale the fresh air and let your imagination fly. I did and I felt like a caged lion being released back into the wild after decades of captivity. Yes, it is that penetrating, it is that deep! Thank you, Brian and thank you, Linda!

We love hearing from our guests. It makes us so happy to fulfill and sometimes exceed their expectations.
Wow. Go ahead and treat yourself and stay here for at least one night! The hospitality, cleanliness, food, views, conversation, and gorgeous home are all worth the trip to the Dahlia House. I had a truly memorable and special experience getting to know the hosts (Linda and Brian) and the other guests in the home.
This place is absolutely amazing. Linda and her husband are great and will wait on you hand and foot if you desire, but will also give you space if you want. The property and house are out of this world and it was amazingly clean. Do yourself a favor and travel out of the way to a paradise and relax, it will be the best decision you make.
Wow, where do we begin…This authentic Victorian Bed and Breakfast was Wonderful!! It was a one night end of summer adventure…and WHAT an adventure it was! We heeded Brian and Linda’s advice and came before dark. The drive through the countryside, along the river, and there at the end of our lovely drive one of the most beautifully restored Victorian houses we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The best part of the trip was getting to visit with Brian and Linda. The house has been in their family since its construction in 1895. It has been lovingly restored right down to the beautifully curated furnishings by Brian and Linda. We arrived mid-day and enjoyed strolling the property inside and out. Took a walk along the shore of the wide and grand Columbia River…even saw a Paddle Steamer go by. It was magical, like stepping back to another (better) ;) place and time. We opted for the pork tenderloin dinner (extra). Besides being delicious it was a wonderful value…and the lemon cake with blackberry filling for desert, there are no words! It was heaven. It is so apparent that Brian and Linda love what they do! We had a wonderful soak in the claw foot tub in the private luxurious bath at the end of the hall from our room. The Hummingbird Room is located at the front of the house with a grand view of the river. With windows open water lapping at the shore, the lovely breeze lulled us to sleep until morning where we found a beautifully appointed coffee service, complete with French press just outside our door. We enjoyed this on the little balcony two steps from our room. THEN came breakfast (included), in the dining room, which was equally as delicious as dinner the night before. We didn’t want to leave! The value of this one night adventure was incredible! Look no further...book a stay with Brian and Linda at The Dahlia House with absolute confidence!
